Scholastic Inc. Telgemeier's cartoon memoir "Smile," which detailed her childhood experiences with dental surgery and braces, was a national best seller with nearly one million copies in print. Scholastic is now preparing to publish a sequel titled "Sisters" on Aug. Just as the previous book, "Smile," explored universal concerns about body image and insecurity, the new graphic novel, "Sisters," which is similarly aimed at readers ages 8 to 12, delves into issues such as sibling rivalry.
