Crisis Intervention Handbook - E-bok - Kenneth Yeager, Albert Roberts () | Bokus

Roberts ed. This collection of thirty-two multi-authored contributions is aimed at updating our knowledge about crisis intervention, by focusing on assessment, disaster and trauma, models of intervention with children and youth, victims of violence, and evidence-based research. The authors, all of them from the USA, come from a wide-ranging disciplinary background, such as nursing, paediatrics, psychiatry, psychology and social work. The large proportion of social work contributors twenty out of fifty reflects perhaps the centrality of crisis intervention to the various areas of mental health social work in the USA, no less than of the fact that the editor is a professor of criminal justice and social work.
