Can We Move Kindle Content to a New Account? - Amazon ebooks | Ask MetaFilterAs an ebook fan, I have bought a great many books for reading from Amazon. I have gained more than 50 books from it over these years. Also I prefer electronic books than paper ones for the great convenience they bring to read any time as I like. They are portable no matter where you go. Assume your friends or family members also own a Kindle, Kindle Fire or other Kindle devices, would you like to transfer your books to their e-readers and share the splendid contents with them?

How to share books on a Kindle with family and friends
It's Metafilter's 20th anniversary! To celebrate, scan some cats or help fund Mefi! Is it possible for us to move some but not all of the digital content to her new account? We have two Kindles on one Amazon account. We have a bunch of content mixed up between us. We would like to move all of her stuff to the new account with the Kindle, but leave all of my stuff behind. Can this be done?
This wikiHow teaches you how to select and move your books and other content from a Kindle to another one, using a desktop internet browser. Log in to the same Amazon account on both Kindles. Open Amazon in a browser. Hover over your name on the top-right. Click Your Content and Devices. Select the items to transfer.
Can you transfer books from one account to another
If you are eligible to purchase digital content, such as Kindle books, from another Amazon website, you can transfer your current Amazon account to that website. Transferring your account to your local Amazon website will transfer the digital content from the list below to the new account and allow you to purchase content from the Kindle Store in your local currency. If you create a new account on another Amazon website instead of transferring your current account, purchases will not be shared between the accounts and you will have separate login credentials for each account. After transferring your account, Kindle content that was transferred will still be available on the Manage Your Content and Devices page on the new account. Similarly, apps and games from Amazon Appstore that were transferred will still be available in the App Library and digital music will still be available in the Music Library. Any Fire or Kindle devices registered to your account will update to the Kindle Store for your new Amazon account automatically the next time you connect wirelessly.
