In a recent workshop, participating teachers presented me with a challenging range of grade levels: pre-K all the way to high school! Luckily it was a small class and I was able to conjure individual projects that suited everyone. The Exquisite Corpse Book My kid-friendly take on a time-honored game played with words or pictures, this is an accordion book to which each student contributes a folded page of artwork. The result, when the pages are attached to one another and fully opened, is a long piece of art that is both individual and collaborative, that both varies from panel to panel student to student yet displays a deliberate continuity, too.
