Invited medical book chapters are usually requested by editors from experienced authors who have made significant contributions to the literature in certain fields requested by an editor from an experienced. I first wrote this article in , and just yesterday April 22, got an email with a slew of questions in it. I realized pretty quickly that I needed to expand and update this one. So here we are. As a writer, this type of information is nearly useless. If the intended readers are adults, then the chapter book is understood to be a lengthy short story divided into reasonable segments.
